 Experience the vibrant sounds of Oaxacan and Mixtec music with Pasatono Orquesta. For many years, Pasatono has dedicated itself to researching, performing, composing, and promoting the rich musical traditions of Mixtec culture. Through years of exploration across Guerrero, Puebla, Oaxaca, and transnational Mixtec communities, the group has connected with musical “living treasures”—luthiers, bass players, banjo players, violinists, composers, and other cultural bearers whose knowledge and creativity keep these traditions alive.
