Synopsis:
Twenty-five years ago we met the Mejía family, from Mexico, who lived in the United States, while traveling to Mexico with their American children. This film finds us in the present, meeting the new generation of Mejías as they make the journey once again. What remains the same, your dreams came true? Oaxacalifornia: El Regreso explores notions of family and home, and how quickly identity and cultural alliances can change in a single generation.
