About the event
Join Skagit Velley College and MEXAM NW Festival in this community event. We will be celebrating the Independence Day of various Latin American countries (Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Chile). We will have food trucks, sale of local products, Mexican folkloric dance shows, mariachi, live DJ, resource and information fair, and community activities. The official ceremony of "El Grito" will be carried out by the Head Consul of the Consulate of Mexico in Seattle, Héctor Iván Godoy Priske.
