Celebración del Grito de Independencia

Join Skagit Valley College and the MEXAM NW Festival at this community event. Come and celebrate Mexican Independence Day at Skagit Valley College on September 13th. The event will feature music, folkloric dances, a traditional Mexican costume contest, local vendors with food and Mexican goods, as well as a community resource fair. We will give the Independence Cry at Tollefson Plaza. You can’t miss it! Invite your family and friends to celebrate with the community. The official “El Grito” ceremony will be led by the Consulate of Mexico in Seattle.
